Carl is a native of Charlotte with an undergraduate degree
in Economics from Davidson College and a M.B.A. from the University
of North Carolina. Carl began his career in the mortgage industry
with Norwest Mortgage. After becoming a nationally recognized
producer, he co-founded McPhail Tull Mortgage in 2000. In
his 10 years in the mortgage business, he has generated over $300 million in residential loans.
Carl and his wife, Anne, have two children- Carl and Braden. Carl is an active member of the Charlotte community with years of volunteer activity through the YMCA, Urban Minsitries, Young Life, Camp Thunderbird and various youth sports organizations. He is a lifelong member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church where he has served as a Deacon and Elder and currently plays in the Celebrate church band.
Carl's interests include photography, video production, swimming and running.
Carl has been a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina since 1982.
